ABOUT

Dr. Jessica Verdicchio is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with individuals, couples, and families in her private practice in HoHoKus, NJ.  With over sixteen years of experience, Dr. Verdicchio's practice is centered on working with children (10 and older), adolescents (and their families), and adults. 

 

Dr. Verdicchio specializes in working with adolescents and emerging adults (18-25) who are experiencing challenges related to identity formation, life transitions (high school, work/college), and overall stress management.

 

Dr. Verdicchio works with clients who present with a variety of struggles such as depression, anxiety, stress management, parenting questions, and school difficulty. Dr. Verdicchio draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and mindfulness-based treatments that are tailored to meet the needs of each client using a solution-focused, individualized, and supportive approach.

 

In addition to maintaining a private practice, Dr. Verdicchio is the Supervisor of Wellness & Special Projects at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ.

 

Dr. Verdicchio is an interactive, supportive, and solution-focused therapist.  Her therapeutic approach strives to provide support and tangible, practical feedback to help clients effectively address life's challenges.  With compassion and understanding, she works with her clients to build on their strengths in order to achieve personal growth.
